Opt-In Process Overview
RCCG The Few collects SMS consent through our visitor registration form on the "Plan Your Visit" page. Users must actively check a consent checkbox to opt-in to receiving text messages from our church.
Where Opt-In Occurs
Users can opt-in to receive SMS messages at:
- Plan Your Visit Form - Visitor registration with SMS opt-in checkbox
- In-person at our church location through physical forms
- During event registrations with explicit consent options
Consent Mechanism
Explicit Checkbox Consent
Users must actively check a box labeled: "I would like to receive text messages about church events and updates" or similar language. The checkbox is unchecked by default, ensuring explicit opt-in consent.
Clear Disclosure
The form clearly states that message and data rates may apply, and provides information about message frequency and opt-out instructions (reply STOP).
