Who We Are
The Few is a church plant located in Rosenberg, Texas, founded with one clear mission: to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe the Christian life is not casual, cultural, or convenient--but a wholehearted commitment to following Christ.
Jesus Himself said the way is narrow—and few find it. We exist for those who desire a disciplined life of obedience to Christ, shaped by the Word, Prayer, Fasting, and Fellowship.
We read the word of God daily, because Jesus says man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. - Matthew 4:4
We offer our hearts daily to the Lord in prayer because men ought to always pray and not faint. - Luke 18:1
We weekly fast because it is a way of drawing closer to God and Jesus expected that we fast. - Matthew 6:16
We fellowship weekly because we are God's family and iron sharpens iron. - Hebrew 10:25

Acts 1:1-5
This sermon is a call to move beyond merely knowing Scripture and into being—being filled, being transformed, and being a witness with power. Jesus did not tell the disciples to “try their best.” He commanded them to wait for the Father’s promise. Why? Because ministry without the Holy Spirit produces talk—while life in the Spirit produces proof. In this teaching, you’ll learn: Why focus matters (and how distraction can cost you timing and blessing) What it means that Jesus began to do and teach (not talk first—do first) Why Jesus gave commands by the Holy Spirit (and what that reveals about the Christian life) What “convincing proofs” look like, and how to examine whether Christ is alive in you The difference between being baptized (once) and being filled (continually) Why many see Jesus—but still miss the promise How a steady Christian life is built: daily Word, daily prayer, continual filling If you’re hungry for biblical Christianity—pure, disciplined, Spirit-empowered—this series is for you.
